At Vertigo, we are experts in our field, delivering specialised solutions to a wide range of tasks that are deemed difficult to complete due to the presence of higher or difficult to reach access locations.
With the establishment of our Adelaide branch in 1993, Vertigo has made a name for itself as Adelaide's first and foremost multi-disciplinary roping access project service. Vertigo has provided services to a range of clients in a diverse variety of fields all over Adelaide and throughout South Australia.
Rope access techniques have made and will continue to make major contributions to the solution of high or difficult access challenges, both on and off shore, because they are often the most efficient, most adaptable, and above all, the safest alternative available.
Vertigo's extensive experience with high level and difficult access work enables us to provide lateral planning and operational solutions to businesses in both private and government sectors.
Vertigo's professional rope access solutions provide a safe, cost efficient and time effective solution to specialised high level access tasks required in the building, industrial, construction and signage industries. Basing ourselves in Adelaide, South Australia we travel the state as a ‘working at heights’ and ‘rope access’ solution.
Our multi-skilled workforce of technicians and tradespeople is proficient in all aspects of rope access techniques, having been trained and re-certified in accordance with the internationally recognised Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) standards.

From skilled staff members ticketed for specific work and inducted for site, we have years of experience working in industries such as:
Rope Access is quickly becoming the preferred ‘working at heights & access’ solution, often removing the need for cranes, boom lifts, scissor lifts & scaffolding. This rapidly speeds up the task at hand whilst providing an affordable alternative for commercial & industrial businesses in South Australia.
Rope access systems are simple to install and unobtrusive, reducing disruption at ground level while increasing site flexibility and productivity. Our rope access teams provide a single point of contact, combining access and contracting trade skills, as well as inspection and testing abilities.
Vertigo creates clear and concise work method statements, risk assessments, and safety audits for each project, and our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and safe working procedures are compliant with current Australian regulations.
To ensure that our clients continue to receive value and service, we are committed to providing superior customer service, backed by our experienced contract management capabilities and skilled, flexible, and highly responsive operational teams. Which has resulted in strong long-term customer relationships.
We are proud to be Adelaide’s first rope access and working-at-heights company since 1993, and it is our profound experience, safety forward thinking, and innovative approach that has put us at the top of the game, and will keep us there for years to come.
Over many years, Vertigo have become a key service provider to Viterra in many respects, particularly with regard to high-risk work, working at heights and building works generally. The works Vertigo have completed include, but are not limited to, cladding works, concrete repairs, structural repairs and the like. Peter Cooper has been instrumental in the project management and supervision of these works, ensuring Viterra’s expectations are met and that the works are completed in a professional manner, whilst never compromising on safety. It has been a pleasure working with Peter to date, and we look forward to doing so in the future.
Margaret Heathcote, Conservation Architect from our team acted as the Project Manager for the Department, and found Peter Cooper and his team to be co-operative, professional and flexible in working on this State Heritage Place, using specialist coating products and high level access equipment. The quality of work complied with specifications as provided and work was completed in a timely manner. Requirements of work safety and environmental issues were addressed with competence, appropriate documentation and procedures adhered with. We would be happy to consider using Vertigo again should appropriate projects come up in future.
I would just like to commend you and your staff again on the fantastic job they performed. It was a pleasure to work with such thorough and motivated people who lead the job start to finish. Jon and Kris’s attention to detail allowed me to oversee the job from my office with absolute confidence and faith that everything was being done to the highest level of safety. Well done all.
