Reaching a work area is part of the task. Our workforce includes qualified tradespeople and IRATA-trained rope access technicians who bring the relevant capability to that location.
Our services span construction and maintenance, with inspections and height safety systems also forming part of the business. From our Adelaide base, we support private-sector and government projects throughout South Australia, including onshore and offshore work.
Our workforce holds tickets across the following areas, with personnel selected to suit the task:
IRATA rope access, working at heights and tower rescue.
Dogging and basic, intermediate and advanced rigging.
Confined-space entry and senior first aid.
White cards and rail-corridor access.
High-risk work, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
Electrical services and scaffolding.
Traffic management.
Our personnel are police checked and complete the inductions required for their work sites.

The safety of our people, clients and the public informs how we approach each project. Our preparation includes job safety analyses, risk assessments and safe work method statements, supported by safety audits and ongoing training.
Access equipment receives a thorough inspection every six months and a check before each use, with individual records for traceability. Slings and ropes are tagged and logged after use. Our rope access technicians undertake IRATA training covering safe work and rescue, followed by independent assessment.
We value the people who carry out the work and the relationships that support it. Our team culture is built around respect and opportunities to develop skills.
We aim to conduct business with clear communication and accountability. Our work is supported by established management systems and relevant industry requirements.

Vertigo participates in MATES in Construction SA, engaging with its training programmes and community events. Mental health and a supportive workplace are part of how we look after our people.
We are also a Master Builders South Australia member. Our accreditations page provides further information about the company’s credentials and management system certifications.
